Ritual and intention oils are is more than nice fragrant appliqués. Over the years, the traditions and information on how to use these oils have been passed down orally via the cultural and religious groups who curated them in their everyday lives. These practices are scared and should be honored. 

Our Sacred Old World Van Van oil is just that! Van Van oil is meant to be used as a curio and ward against that which is unsavory and to help those whom use it to not be deceived. Used in house blessings, floor washes, anointing, and spell work; Van Van can be one of the most powerful things to have in your practice. Also many have applied a little to clothing to help repel mosquitoes. 

Van Van is traditionally used in Hoodoo, Santaria, and in some circles indigenous practices. Often knows as the “Fragrance of New Orleans” Van Van was used throughout the French Quarter. 

Our oil is made with the traditional ingredients which you won’t find the recipe on the Internet. Van Van is comprised of lemon, lemongrass, vetiver, melissa, and a few other essential oils and organic herbs. There is no Vanilla in Van Van oil! 

The only thing we did differently  is the carrier oil. One day we might make it with the traditional carrier oil, but thinking of how many people use ritual oils in the present moment; we opted for coconut and another oil. 

$5 for the 1 ml dram, $10 for the 8ml/.027oz  roll on, $20 for the 10ml roll on vial, or $28 for the 15ml glass vial . Sold as a curio. 

We suggest if you are going to use the concentrated roll on bottle topically, that you only use one small dot on the back of the hand then using the other back of the hand rub to apply and spread on another area of the body. 

Do not ingest! A little goes a long way use sparingly. Not recommended to apply all over the body repeatedly, open wounds, scrapes, internally, or genitals. Not suggested for everyday use. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Stop use if you have any irritation. Does contain actual herbs. Keep away from pets, the container away from heat, and direct sunlight.
