Usually sage and other ceremonial herbs are harvested by hand, dried, then bound together with intention in mind. For most ceremonies these are given away from one person to another instead of purchase. But we do know that in 2023 sometimes it’s hard to get things for ceremonies. It does take labor to grow and cultivate these herbs. 

The White and Blue Sage that we have in our shop comes from a reliable indigenous source, and we will not have it all the time. 

White Sage is the more well known in popular culture. The main uses have been to create a pleasant environment to allow ancestors, and that which is on  the side of good to be present where you are. 

Blue Sage is usually used in combination with white or by itself. Blue sage is used more for dispelling negativity, and to bring about peaceful sacred energy. $4 each for the 4” 

The sacred holy wood of Peru and Ecuador, Palo Santo has been used in many ceremonies and rituals by spiritual practitioners and shaman for many centuries. We are honored to carry some that has been sustainably sourced not craft wood that has been fragrance, but the actual wood from the trees. 

We will only carry so much of it as this is now becoming an endangered plant due to over farming. Usually it takes about 50 years before the tree is mature enough to take some of the wood for burning as incense and/ creation of items.

We get ours from someone who has the trees on their property, no pesticides, non irradiated, and they do not over harvest. There are many people selling what seems to be something similar but it is not the same. The wood could be very very dark, or a medium light color. When you’ve had the real thing, you can definitely tell once it’s burned.

This type of incense is not a quick burn, it smolders. The smoldering doesn’t last a long time but the fragrance lingers. It is not meant to be burned continuously. One stick usually lasts a good while depending on use. Each stick is approximately 4-6 inches. New price of $2ea
